modes of operation
Accumulator

Power is applied at all times. Contact closures or voltage signals are counted until the "accumulated" a preset count.

Typical Applications

  • Multiple Coin Or Token Vending Applications
  • Multiple Event Triggering
Series
Delay on Break

Power must be applied to the input at all times prior to and during timing. Upon closure of the initiate switch, the output contacts transfer and remain transferred if no further action is taken. When the initiate switch is opened, the time delay begins. At the end of the preselected time delay the output contacts revert to their original unenergized position. Removal of input power will reset the control.

Typical Applications

  • Float Switch Trigger
  • Post Purge Blower Timing
  • Flow Monitoring
Series
Normally Closed Delay on Make

The output is in a normally closed state. Upon application of power to the input terminals, the output contact transfers and the time delay begins. At the completion of the time delay the output contact drops out. Removal of input power from terminal 3 resets the delay and the output contact reverts to its original closed position.

Typical Applications

  • Pressure Switch Bypassing
  • Flow Monitoring
Series
Delayed Interval

Upon application of power to the input terminals, the OFF delay begins. Upon completion of the OFF delay, the output contacts transfer and the ON delay begins. Upon completion of the ON delay, the output contacts revert to their original position. Reset is accomplished by removal of input power.

Typical Applications

  • Switch De-Bounced Interval Timing
  • Anti-Short Cycle/Maximum Run Timing
Series
Interval

Upon application of power to the input terminals, the output contacts immediately transfer and the time delay begins. At the completion of the pre-selected time delay, the output contacts revert to their original position. Reset is accomplished by removal of input power.

Typical Applications

  • Maximum Run Timing
  • Two Hand Machine Operation
  • Redundant Timing (Parallel Backup Timing)
Series
Delay on Make

Upon application of power to the input terminals, the time delay begins. At the completion of the pre-selected time delay, the output contacts transfer. Reset is accomplished by removal of input power.

Typical Applications

  • Start Up Delay
  • Anti-Short Cycle
  • Random Starting
  • Contact De-Bouncing
  • Pre-Purge Ignition Timing
Series
Retriggerable One-Shot

Power must be applied to the input at all times prior to and during timing. Upon closure of the initiate switch (momentary or maintained) the output contacts transfer and the time delay begins. At the completion of the pre-selected time delay the output contacts revert to their original position. NOTE: Momentary or maintained closure of initiate switch during timing will reset the time delay.

Typical Applications

  • Pulse Train Detection
  • Re-occurring Momentary Or Maintained Event Monitoring
  • Watchdog Timing
Series
Percentage

When power is applied, the load will energize and de-energize for a percentage of the cycle time which is controlled by the value of the timing resistance. In addition the ON or OFF period may be independent set with a fixed resistance and the remaining delay adjusted with a potentiometer (External adjust styles only). Reset is accomplished by removal of input power.

Typical Applications

  • Pump Timing
  • Proportional Heating/Cooling
Series
Recycle Off/On

Upon application of power to the input terminals, the OFF delay begins. Upon completion of the OFF delay, the output contacts transfer and the ON delay begins. Upon completion of the ON delay, the output contacts revert to their original position and the cycle repeats. Reset is accomplished by removal of input power.

Typical Applications

  • Delay Before Sequence Start-up
  • Automatic Compressor Drain
  • Flasher
  • Event Repeating
Series
Recycle On/Off

Upon application of power to the input terminals, the ON delay begins and the output contacts transfer. Upon completion of the ON delay, the output contacts revert back to their original position and the OFF delay begins. Upon completion of the OFF delay, the output contacts again transfer and the cycle repeats. Reset is accomplished by removal of input power.

Typical Applications

  • Automatic Compressor Drain
  • Flasher
  • Timed Sequence Triggering
  • Event Repeating
Series
Single Shot

Power must be applied to the input at all times prior to and during timing. Upon closure of the initiate switch (momentary or maintained) the output contacts transfer and the time delay begins. At the completion of the pre-selected time delay, the output contacts revert to their original position. Removal of input power will reset the control.

Typical Applications

  • Momentary Or Maintained Event Triggering
  • Single Coin Vending Applications
Series
Toggle

Power must be applied to the input at all times prior to and during timing. Upon closure of the initiate switch (momentary or maintained) the output contact transfers and the time delay begins. Upon re-closure of the initiate switch or at the completion of the pre-selected delay period, the output contact reverts to its original position.

Typical Applications

  • Jaccuzzi & Spa Pump Timing
  • Single Contact Start/Stop Timing
Series
